Course Description:

Swim
The participant will swim 18 lengths (9 laps) in the Boiling Springs Pool to complete the 0.5 miles. This portion of the race challenges all athletes because there are NO lane markers. It is like an open swim in a lake or ocean. Swimmers need to be aware of where the other athletes are while completing the swim. The transition area to the bike will be at the opposite side of the pool entrance, close to the street.

Bike
Turn right out of the gate from the B.S. Pool. Go over the one lane bridge and over the railroad tracks. Stay to the right onto Mountain Road. Follow to stop sign and turn right onto Petersburg Road and then an immediate left onto Red Tank Road. Follow Red Tank Road to Park Drive. Turn left onto Park Drive all the way into Mt. Holly Springs. At signal light turn right onto Rt. 34 going north (Holly Pike). Follow Rt. 34 north then turn right onto Bonnybrook Road. Follow Bonnybrook Road until you see Heisers Lane on your left. Turn left onto Heisers Lane. Follow Heisers Lane to stop sign then turn right onto Petersburg Road. Follow Petersburg Road to stop sign and then turn left onto E. Old York Road (Rt. 174). Follow E. Old York Road to Spring Meadows Park on your right. This is the finish for the bike and the transition area to start the run. You will place your bike on the appropriate bike rack for your heat and then proceed to the start of the run area.

Run
Each runner follows the gravel path from Spring Meadows Park to South Middleton Park (1.5 miles) and then turns around to complete the last half of the run. Friends and family meet the runners at the finish line. Fresh fruit and water are provided to each of the participants.
